One of the most valuable ways community members donate to IYGAS is through volunteering. However, we happily and graciously accept physical gifts and donations year-round. If you are interested in fundraising for us, give us a call and we can work with you. 

 

We always need: 

• Old clean newspapers

• Old clean towels, blankets

• Cleaning supplies

• Dog toys

• Cat toys

 

Most of the shelter funding goes to medical expenses, food, and utilities. We are constantly fundraising to maintain and improve our facilities, develop animal engagement, and provide services to the Port Isabel community. 

 

Funding also supports staff development conferences, office supplies, marketing efforts, and building maintenance.

If you are looking to make a monetary donation, we access checks and cash in person and by mail. We are in the process of setting up an online donation system.
